Supporting Survivors, Strengthening Communities

Chaya Seattle helps and supports survivors and families who are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking in Seattle. We, at Chaya Seattle, offers help and support through implementing programs and support services to the victims of the said oppression. Listed below are some of the most helpful programs we offer.

Youth Leadership Programs

We strongly believe in the capacity of the youths in addressing the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence in our community. Through this program, we are able to help them build the capacity that they have.

Youth and Young Audit Training

We provide training in topics like Dating, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Healthy Relationships. We also give basic education and outreach programs to youth and young adults with ages of 12 to 15 years old. We encourage them to be aware of the community and become peer advocates to help each other in times of crisis.

Natural Helpers Program

In this program, we develop bilingual outreach volunteers to help unite those people who are experiencing sexual and domestic violence and human trafficking to the services that we provide. This program is essential because it serves as a leadership development program that encourages natural helpers and community leaders to address gender-based violence in our communities and improve the communities’ social condition.

Our principal goal is to give an end to all acts of violence in Seattle. We have helped thousands of people and cooperated with a number of community groups. We understand the bad effects of violence, and we strongly believe in the potential of each survivor to help in addressing situations which concerns the topics of emotional and physical violence. We at Chaya Seattle provide free services, which are confidential and available to all people who are in need.
