CBD oil is a compound which is extracted from the cannabis plant and has been known to have anxiety and pain-alleviating properties. Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, its sister compound, also has been known to help with anxiety and pain.

However, despite having the same structure and providing the same medical benefits, CBD oil doesn’t have the psychoactive effects (that “high” or euphoric feeling) that are usually associated with THC. This means that with CBD oil, you also don’t experience withdrawal symptoms, unlike with THC.

How is CBD Oil Helpful in Treating PTSD Symptoms?

CBD oil, when processed by our bodies, have been found to act similarly to endorphins.
